The artwork gallery of semi-abstract artworks is inspired by the natural world around Paul, whether on the coastline, a misty autumn countryside landscape, or even the wonderful textures on tree bark. His aim is not simply to attempt to replicate the scene, but more to create and expression of the texture, atmosphere or colour combinations that he has observed or imagined. Paul has no set process to create. Frequently he uses pastel sketches to develop ideas, but sometimes simply makes a start with texture and colour and sees where it takes him allowing an image to evolve.   Detail images of paintings available on request
